Our Story

From a single estate, into the world's finest kitchens.

For three generations, our family has tended the same hillside in Sri Lanka's Galle district. We harvest by hand, cure by sun, and roll every quill the way our grandfather taught us — slowly, and only when the bark is willing.

Today, Ceylon Reserve reaches chefs, apothecaries and tea houses in fifteen countries. The hands that touch our bark have never changed.

We harvest in rhythm with the trees — never stripping slopes bare, never pushing synthetic cures. Healthy soil and shade-grown bark are the only yield we chase.

Livelihoods, not seasons

Farmers and rollers earn above-market wages all year, with training and safety built in. When families stay on the land, craft deepens — and communities grow stronger.

A lighter footprint
